A total of 2,834 exhibitors from 56 countries were present at the mobility industry\u2019s premier trade fair, and some 140,000 visitors from more than 131 nations attended the trade fair over its four-day duration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-dbec-core-base-button\"><div class=\"wrapper-base-button wrapper-base-button--left\"><a class=\"base-button base-button--red\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=7x5dfm3E_pI&amp;t=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"base-button__label\">Learn more about our exciting projects<\/span><svg class=\"base-button__icon\"><use xlink:href=\"#icon-link\" \/><\/svg><\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>As a forward-looking full-service provider, the DB E.C.O. Group also presented its <a href=\"https:\/\/db-engineering-consulting.com\/en\/productportfolio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">portfolio<\/a> of engineering, consulting and operator solutions. \u201cAll four days of the fair were exciting and generally successful for us,\u201d said Niko Warbanoff, CEO of the DB E.C.O. Group. \u201cThanks to our amazing crew on site, we were able to meet face-to-face with many customers and partners from different countries. This led to fruitful discussions promoting partnerships for improving rail transport around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading headline-h4\">Several partnerships launched<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The DB E.C.O. Group used InnoTrans 2022 to launch several groundbreaking partnerships. For example, DB CEO Dr. Richard Lutz and Egyptian Minister of Transport Kamel Al Wazir attended the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the training of Egyptian specialists for future employment with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deutschebahn.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DB<\/a>. Two MoUs were signed with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sar.com.sa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Saudi Railways Company<\/a>, one of which was with the DB E.C.O. Group\u2019s international training provider, <a href=\"https:\/\/railacademy.deutschebahn.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DB Rail Academy<\/a>, regarding training services. A second MoU was signed for consulting services in the area of \u201cMobility as a Service\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The DB E.C.O. Group signed an agreement with representatives from Romania to conclude a joint framework agreement on the development of transport infrastructure in the southeastern European country. The letter of intent for future collaboration was also signed with the Uzbek Ministry of Transport, Uzbek Railways and the German development bank Kreditanstalt f\u00fcr Wiederaufbau (KfW). This agreement aims to establish a financing structure for the procurement of electric trains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>InnoTrans 2022 was also the venue for the DB E.C.O. Group to announce its partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/dromos.network\/\">DROMOS GmbH, a Munich-based mobility start-up<\/a> for autonomous public transport solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highlights also include the signing of an agreement with Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ), Ukraine\u2019s state-owned rail company, on the very first day of the show.
