Each pilot must register as such, provide proof of competency for most UAS and obtain permission from the landowner \u2013 often also national aviation authorities and police forces \u2013 before any flight over private land.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/a-expandable><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-dbec-core-accordion-item\"><a-expandable id=\"luft-verkehrsordnung\" class=\"accordion-item\"><button type=\"button\" slot=\"toggle\" class=\"accordion-item__bar\"><h3 class=\"accordion-item__label\">Civil Aviation Ordinance<\/h3><svg class=\"accordion-item__arrow\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><use xlink:href=\"#icon-arrow-down\" \/><\/svg><\/button><div class=\"accordion-item__content\"><div class=\"layout-content\">\n<p>Flights over railroad installations and tracks are generally prohibited by law in Germany (Section 21b German Civil Aviation Ordinance (Luftverkehrs-Ordnung, LuftVO)).
