Das RRTS-Projekt wird von der globalen Expertise und Erfahrung der DB im Bereich des technologiegesteuerten Betriebs und der vorausschauenden Wartung profitieren, was den Fahrg\u00e4sten eine komfortable und sichere Fahrt erm\u00f6glichen wird. Diese Partnerschaft wird einen Paradigmenwechsel in der Betriebsf\u00fchrung des schienengebundenen Verkehrs in Indien herbeif\u00fchren, der der DB neue M\u00f6glichkeiten er\u00f6ffnen wird. Ich bin davon \u00fcberzeugt, dass RRTS, ein Vorzeigeprojekt des indischen Premierministers, ein neues Kapitel des schienengebundenen Verkehrssystems in unserem Land einleiten wird&#8221;<\/em>, sagt Vinay Kumar Singh, Managing Director der NCRTC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading headline-h4\"><strong>Schnelleres und sicheres Reisen f\u00fcr Millionen Menschen<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Projekt umfasst eine Strecke von 82 Kilometer mit 25 Bahnh\u00f6fen sowie zwei Depots. Das Auftragsvolumen des \u00fcber 12 Jahre laufenden Vertrages liegt im dreistelligen Millionenbereich. Die DB IO wird 40 Z\u00fcge auf dem Delhi-Meerut-RRTS-Korridor betreiben sowie die Bahninfrastruktur instandhalten. Nach der vollst\u00e4ndigen Betriebsaufnahme, die sukzessive ab 2023 beginnt, sollen t\u00e4glich mehr als 800.000 Passagiere bef\u00f6rdert werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Indien sind weitere Korridore bereits geplant, um den regionalen Bedarf an Infrastrukturentwicklung und umweltfreundlichen Mobilit\u00e4tsl\u00f6sungen zu bedienen. Denn die Region um die Hauptstadt Neu-Delhi wird voraussichtlich bis 2030 zum bev\u00f6lkerungsreichsten Ballungsraum der Welt werden. Aufgrund des mangelnden Angebots an \u00f6ffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nutzt derzeit ein Gro\u00dfteil der Bev\u00f6lkerung private Fahrzeuge. Die Motorisierungsrate w\u00e4chst mehr als f\u00fcnfmal so schnell wie die Bev\u00f6lkerung. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-dbec-core-layout-column  column is-6-small is-6-medium column--expanded\"><div class=\"layout-column\">\n<p>Mit dem neuen regionalen Schnellbahnsystem kann die Reisezeit f\u00fcr zwischen Delhi und Meerut um ca. 70% verk\u00fcrzt werden. Davon profitieren Millionen Pendler:innen und nat\u00fcrlich das Klima und die Gesundheit, denn die Luftverschmutzung in vielen indischen St\u00e4dten ist aktuell gesundheitsgef\u00e4hrdend. Die Technik soll zeitnah auch in Deutschland zur Anwendung kommen, beispielsweise im Projekt <a href=\"https:\/\/digitale-schiene-deutschland.de\/Digitaler-Knoten-Stuttgart\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201eDigitaler Knoten Stuttgart\u201c<\/a>. Die Zugkommunikation wird auf Basis von LTE-Technologie erfolgen, die gegen\u00fcber dem herk\u00f6mmlichen GSM deutlich leistungsf\u00e4higer ist und weltweit einen der ersten Eins\u00e4tze erf\u00e4hrt.
